The company says the models were made to spread London's signature style in the year the country hosts the Olympic Games. Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville, Fla., parent of Brumos Racing, confirmed the production and imminent delivery of five factory-built 911 Carrera GTS B59 Edition coupes that pay homage to driver Hurley Haywood--five-time winner of the Daytona 24-hour race. The exclusive Porsches will carry a sticker price of $133,540. The 408-hp coupes, based on the GTS, will have the Brumos red-and-blue stripe design for the front hood and rear deck, Porsche door decals, 19-inch sport classic wheels, limitation badges and Carrera White accents and door-entry guards with HHaywood's engraved signature.
The biennial Design Forum at Pforzheim Hochschule in Germany took place last week, with six international design schools joining together to present and discuss the latest work of their students. The Forum is held in conjunction with the annual summer degree show at Pforzheim where Diploma and Masters students presented their work. The Forum was chaired by Professor James Kelly who welcomed the tutors and their accompanying students to the event.
